Something "momentous" happened this weekend in our family, well "momentous" for our 6 year old, H! She talked us into taking her to the mall to get her ears pierced! She will be 7 in December, so I figured now was a good time!
After leaving the ear piercing chair...TWICE...she took a deep breath, closed her sweet eyes & held my hand tight...2 seconds later, we had experienced yet another milestone in her life!
Hubs & I were jumping up & down cheering for her, she didn't shed one single tear! My "Mama pride" was in full swing! S continued to just shop around the store as all of this was going on, while C watched from a corner with this look on her face that read: "Oh my! H has no idea how much this will hurt"! C has had her ears pierced for a few years now & has a really low threshold for pain, lol! This was NOT her fav trip to the mall :)
No pics were taken as my hands were being squeezed & Hubs chased S around the store most of the time! So...in honor of my sweet Hannah...I have added some lovely bling below :)

I am so excited!
Well, many of you who have known me for any period of time, know that I am not very crafty...that is why I love custom boutique SO much!! I can't sew a button onto a shirt! Well, I have wanted to do "something" creative for over a year now & have just gotten my behind in gear! I really need your feedback, HONEST feedback on what you think about "my new found craftiness"! I am just trying my hand at jewelry...I have made several pieces, "real" pieces, after the bazillion I practiced on after reading tons of material on how to make said jewelry. I feel a bit (well, more than a bit) unsure of myself still & have lots of practice still to come. I wanted to share what I thought would be "blog worthy" at this point! I know, I know...my photography STILL stinks!!! Let me know what you think...honestly please, as I don't want to embarrass myself on eBay or Etsy! There are already so many amazing bling designers out there, many of whom I love to buy from & still will as I am such an amature!! Maybe I will start out giving these as gifts first!! Ok...here goes...

Showin' some love for Dots!
Oh, I have such a love affair with polka dots! I have loved them all of my life & the love got even stronger as I gave birth to three girls! You may think I am nuts, nuts about my dots...but a whole new world of dots opened up for me with children's (girls in paticular) clothing! C, H & S have worn dots of different colors, big & small since they were born & I think I have brainwashed them, as they love dots just like Mommy, LOL!
What is the allure you ask?? I am not really sure...I just love how clean & fresh they look against a solid color, they are everywhere in my life & just bring a smile to my face!
I have stationary, stickers, the girls clothing, my clothing (but sparingly as I am a grown up now, lol!), gift wrap, fav coffee mug, bathroom decor, baskets, & tons of custom boutique with dots galore!
So, I wanted to give homage to Gymbo's new line...Lot's of Dots!! You can imagine I am going today to buy most of the line for S (C & H say Gymbo is for babies now...sniff!)
Off I go to the mall, happily shopping for more dots...it is a good day, lol!
Here are some pics of my fav dotty pieces! Can't wait to see Shelby in these! I missed the Circle of Friends sale this weekend...Grrr, so it's retail price for me today, boooo!
I also have several pieces listed on eBay from last Fall's Gymbo line (that featured dots no less!), Cupcake Cutie!

My new mantel
Well, not a "new" mantel exactly...but new pics of the girls...that (gasp!) I took! Remember when I mentioned what a terrible photographer I am here? Well, that hasn't changed much! I think I was blessed on the day I took pics of the girls for the mantle with gorgeous light as the weather was beautiful & yes...photoshop! (thank goodness for photoshop!)
I love how they turned out...not for the fact that they look decent (to my amatur eyes), but that my girls look truly happy! You know the smiles our children flash at us that come from deep down & you can tell that there is nothing fake or forced about it? I love those smiles! Somehow I was able to capture those from each of my girls & feel so wonderful about putting them up on the mantel! The frames actually still need to be hung, but I was so excited, I just had to share!!

Starting over...sort of
Good Morning!! I really need to start this blog over...
I started my blog last year...didn't have a CLUE how to "blog" at all (I know, I am a bit late getting on the blog train, lol!), I just didn't have my heart in it, as you can see here, there are only two posts!!
Well, I have decided to start back again wholeheartedly! I actually have had so much fun "blogging" during the last few weeks! I have TERRIBLE photog skills, as you know if you have seen my eBay auctions! The amazing custom resells I offer deserve to be showcased in all of their glory..so thank goodness, the amazing custom designers I work with on eBay let me borrow their studio quality photos! Thanks ladies :)
A bit about me...My name is Jennifer, Hubs is Jason. My very best friend, my support, my soul mate...
We will celebrate our 10th wedding anni on 10/24 this year!! Woohoo! Still going very strong!
We have been blessed with the three princesses we prayed for: Chloe/8, Hannah/6 & Shelby/4! Life with three girls running around is so crazy at times, however one hug or kiss, one smile from our girls, makes all the chaos so worth it!! Jason & I adore our 3 blessings more than they could ever know!
We live just outside of Athens, GA...near the University of Georgia, Go Dogs! We always love Fall college football season, falling leaves, chili on the stove, the girls playing outside & of course, the Dogs on tv!!
Chloe just started 3rd grade, Hannah 1st & our baby Shelby started Pre-K this year! They love school and are all smart, kind & loving, of course we are biased!
I love spending time with my wonderful family (my parents are close by), eBay"ing", trips to the park, shopping, oh how I love shopping! I am so addicted to this place! I get a Venti Iced Coffee every single morning without fail...it doesn't take much to thrill me!! LOL!
Please stop by & say hello! I have met so many wonderful people through eBay, etsy & other blogs...
Hey, this blogging thing just might become addictive...
Family pic from last Christmas...the girls look like they have had enough fun :)

Heaven...for Breakfast!!
Could life get any "sweeter"??
Since Jason & I pay the dental bills around here, we usually don't get a box of pure sugar for Breakfast, but life is full of exceptions! Perfect for the Sunday after the first day of school, a box of super yummy donuts from our fav donut shop!
I am off to savor the rest of this little goody & wish you a "sweet Sunday"!
Oh, one more first day of school pic from Friday am...Look at our new backpacks, thanks to this place, I buy one every year for C & H! (Sorry to blind you with C's backpack reflector!)

ALL 3 Girls are BTS!!
Well...as of yesterday, all of my girls are back to school! My older girls, C & H were up very early (5:30am! Seriously!), so excited to get dressed & go! If you remember on Monday, S went to her first day of Pre-K & is adjusting well! C & H reported back at the end of the day that they LOVE their teachers (I do too!) & had a fun first day! Next week will be the real test as yesterday as funsies with games, snacks & Summer memories! It was so quiet in my house yesterday, I missed them being around, but got TONS done! Ran around like crazy to this place & this one returning things (buying too, ugh!), went the the post office, bank & snuck in a Starbucks!!
I can't wait until I can show them this post when they start High School & remind them how quickly they "jumped" out of bed to hurry to school! LOL! Not sure if the excitement will stick...a Mother can always hope!

I want to rewind...just a little
I haven't had two seconds to myself to rewind & relish our last fun day out this Summer together as a family! C & H start school tomorrow...I will miss being with them everyday, all day...but I probably need a bit of a break, LOL! My sweet Shelby started Pre-K on Monday, so today I am remembering what a truly fun, carefree Summer we shared with each other!
The perfect "last hoorah" was this past Saturday at Zoo Atlanta, which I personally haven't visited in over 20 years! Wow, I am really dating myself! We jumped in the car & drove out to beautiful Grant Park in Atlanta where the Zoo is located. The weather was sparkling, no humidity & I just had a feeling we were really going to enjoy ourselves! We visited all of the typical Zoo animals, every single one of them more amazing than the last...and we got to see Atlanta's much beloved Panda's! On loan to our city from China for a total of 10 years, one of the females is due to give birth in about 2 weeks! If you ever find yourself in "Hot"lanta, you must visit our amazing Zoo!
J, the girls & I had such a great time, there was no nagging, fussing, pulling at my shirt or whining, WOOHOO!!!! The girls were precious little gems & it really made for the perfect day! Here are a few pics below, any of you who know me, realized that my photog skills stink (thank you custom designers for always lending your gorgeous pics!!), I want to take some photog classes, but need to find the time! I did play around with some fun textures that I found on Jenn's blog & I actually got them to work, just really need some serious help with my photo taking, LOL!
Also, doesn't S look sweet in her knit set by this wonderful designer?! We LOVE her knit sets! Thanks Sheila ;)

Shelby goes to Pre-K...
Well, I knew this day would come. The day when all three of my sweet girls would go to "big girl" school! Yes, I know it is only Pre-K, but as fast as the years fly by, this will just lead to bigger things, you know Kindergarden, LOL! She looked so precious in her dress by this fab designer, & her sweet, sweet Gymbo knee socks! I could have just eaten her up! Precious!! I love this pic of her before we left for "big school" with her completely empty backpack! Of course as C & H had to have fresh new backpacks for the school year, so did Shelby! We found a darling "little girl" sized backpack at Gap! It fit her "little self" so perfectly!! I had to get a pic of her with her sweet teacher, Mrs. Julia on the first day, to compare with the pic I will take on the last day, yet again to see that she has grown older, taller...sniff, sniff :(
I know she will have tons of fun today, I just miss the days when I had three babies & then three toddlers...now three big "school aged" girls!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
Back to school time!!! Not just that this busy Mommy of three needs a break from being glued to her sweet girls...but, I long for cool days, changing leaves & jeans!
Today, we will do our last bit of back to school shopping! I have my two oldest, C & H who now insist on "Big Girl" clothes (which by the way are more expensive, LOL), thanks to this store & they will hardly wear sweet things from this store!!
My sweet S, who will enter Pre-K this year, will still wear her sweet eBay boutique customs, my last hold out, LOL!
C & H want to wear lip gloss to school, the gloss (which I know is so innocent, I'm just not ready!) along with spaghetti strap tanks at school are not allowed in my book yet...why do they want to grow up sooo stinkin' fast??
On the home front...we have a bit less humidity today, so the impending yard work that Hubby & I have ignored for the past 3 weeks MUST get done...today :)
